Despite being a lead guitarist down Moth Street Artists fronted up and proved they are musical troubadours of the first degree.
The show must go on and indeed it did.
With Jasmines stunningly powerful vocals leading the way her acoustic strumming’s laid a magic carpet over the eclectic, eccentric, harmonious, jumpy electric rock of the boys in the band.
A few tunes in the acoustic was substituted for an electric six string and the Moth Street Artists amalgamated into one.
Arcade Fire are a band that spung to my mind that at times, if you need to have a comparing sound.
An entertaining seven song set (see pix for song titles) flew past. A great start for the early birds.
